“A little banged up but no worse for the wear,” she replied, pulling herself to her feet. 

“Let’s get back out there then.” Taking her by the hand, the couple rejoined the fight.

But, no matter, with the lunar shift, you and your new friend here will finally be cured of all that ails you. Soon,” she said as she shut the door, plunging them back into darkness.

Vaughn, I need you. It’s time. You must come now. I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. “Chandria!” Vaughn awakened with a start, his heart was pounding furiously in his chest and his breathing was ragged. Looking around the room, he gained a sense of where he was before pulling his legs to the side of the bed. Slowly, he felt his heart return to a normal pace as he took in deep breaths to steady himself.

Chandria hadn’t been able to do that before. He wondered briefly what it could mean; were her powers growing? Was she getting weaker? And if so, would he be able to call upon her magics as he needed in order to find her? Dammit! Why hadn’t she given him a location or anything to go on? Lexi was proving more powerful than he could have hoped but, with Kaya’s help he would be able to get the last ingredient he’d need: her blood. It would be useful when the time came.

Caleb and Charlie stood on either side of the bed, securing Kaya down as the doctor diligently went to work. Roberta moved to Kaya’s side. Placing her stethoscope in her ears, she listened to the Luna’s heart and the rapid succession of beats that signified arrhythmia. “Kaya, do you mind lifting your dress for me? I’d like to run a quick sonogram to see where we are here.”

Now knowing the Shifting wolf was the wild animal he once tortured and threatened in his basement his chances for a civilized chat had diminished remarkably. And added to the fact that on several occasions he tried taking the life of his new Luna, it’s a wonder he and the others even made it out of Shadowvale with their heads still attached.

The last three meets were interrupted by hikers, campers and just plain curious teens. But she did what she was told in hopes of gaining standing with the magical ones.

Rafe is going crazy waiting for his transition and asks Kaya to retrieve some personal effects for him from his place. She heads to his apartment and runs into Gideon wolves. Byron of Gideon helps her escape and they get back to their manor but arriving empty handed places Luther in a foul mood and he takes it out on an unsuspecting victim.

Luther determined to become the only Alpha respected and housed in Willow Reed makes a move on Lobo, attacking him with two other wolves. Lobo's seer Lexi stops them before they are able to complete their task and tells Lobo he has to stop Luther before he gets what he's after.
